ILLUSTRATION

As an illustrator, my passion for creating art has been a part of me since I was young. I grew up drawing manga and anime, and in high school, I started designing my own characters and writing their stories. During my college years, I had the opportunity to work for the university's newspaper, where I illustrated weekly comic strips featuring my original character. Additionally, I interned for a local comic artist and helped illustrate and co-write her comics.

I have a diverse skill set and enjoy experimenting with various media, including screen-printing, linograph, clay, resin jewelry, painting, brush lettering, and doodling. My strong foundation in drawing has allowed me to develop a versatile style, ranging from realism to line art portraits. Currently, I am particularly interested in watercolor painting and illustrating on the iPad. Watercolor painting is my go-to hobby and a source of therapy, especially when I paint florals in both western and eastern styles. Illustrating on the iPad, with its non-permanent mindset, has been life-changing, providing me with the freedom to experiment with different styles, color palettes, and compositions.
